FLIGHT CENTRE

ANNUAL WINTER BALL

Bubble has had the pleasure for the past few years to cater and fully plan Flight Centre’s annual winter ball for their most loyal clients. Held at the prestigious Guildhall, steeped in tradition spanning more than 800 years – from the Gothic grandeur of the Great Hall to the largest surviving medieval crypts in London, the selected theme of Gothic tied in extremely well with the chosen venue.

The menu featured savoury canapés like smoked ham toffee apples and a vegan ‘steak tartare’ made from smoked watermelon served on an operating theatre table and chopped up by one of our talented chefs. Served on a coffin, carried in by pall-bearers our unique dessert station was well fitted to the theme of the client, with a selection of bespoke desserts such as the broken heart, the apple decay and the black cherry egg. To end the night a Sweeny Todd Pie Station served up an ox cheek stout pie and a cep mushroom porter pie with a horseradish potato crust. Finally, cocktails included the Black Rose and Royal Blood.

Overall the night was definitely one to be remembered with beautiful floral decorations by Amie Bone and entertainment from the Urban Voices Collective gospel choir who began with three gospel songs during the champagne reception and finished off with a range of uplifting songs including one from legendary artist Chakka Khan.
