Wednesday 7th July 2010 The Experiment The Science Museum
The Science Museum was recently host to a showcase of the venue for special guests and a showcase for Bubble Food's molecular cuisine.
A full display by our specialist head chef kept the guests fascinated as he created unusual canapés, changing their shape and texture with the help of liquid nitrogen and some rather special, all natural, potions and powders
One of our guests summed up the night in a nice email we received:
'Well, the experiment was a success! Thank you very much for your kind invitation to the Science Museum last night. I thoroughly enjoyed myself; it was a fantastic evening with the museum providing a fascinating backdrop!'

Tired mums and dads were able to ease the stress and organised chaos, with something slightly stronger in the form of Mojitos, before things calmed down and the screening commenced. Wednesday 24th March 2010 Nanny McPhee - The Big Bang Premiere Odeon West End
The real star on the 'blue' carpet at the recent Nanny McPhee premiere, was none other than a slightly fluffy pig on a lead, which had script writer and main female actor Emma Thompson, zig-zagging from one side of the carpet to the other. Numerous flashes from photographers and the heaving crowd of fans proved to be all a bit much for our furry friend who then proceeded to relieve himself at the entrance to the Odeon.
Other stars from the film enjoying the carpet antics included Welsh actor, Rhys Ifans, Bill Bailey and Maggie Gyllenhaal. Other celebs spotted on the starry carpet included Simon Cowell's ex and singer, Sinitta, Patsy Palmer, Vanessa Felz, Gail Porter and Jo Whiley, all with minors in tow.
Fashion order of the day included sparkly shoes but no sign of magic wands!
Bubble Food provided the culinary and liquid magic for the VIPs, hailing the event as another success.
Nanny McPhee is a Universal film and is in cinemas now.

Thursday 11th March 2010 Matter Showcase Matter London at the O2
Super Club, Matter, was transformed from its normal concrete existence as the UK's leading dance club, into a grand dining hall for 120 guests, as Matter and Bubble Food combined forces to showcase the versatility of the club as a veritable event space.
Selected corporate guests enjoyed canapés, in the new dedicated Laurent Perrier bar on the first floor whilst being entertained by an aerial artist and were shown around the venue by their respective hosts, before moving down to the main dance floor for the dinner to follow.
Amused guests clung to their glasses as the Bubble team completely cleared the tables of everything including the flowers, in preparation for the AV sensory show to follow - Matter has a 'body sonic' dance floor with massive speakers beneath it, giving you a complete physical music experience and anything on the tables would bounce off! The club is a blank canvas and is capable of producing the most amazing bespoke graphics and projections on all its walls. It has to be seen!
Bubble Food has secured an exclusive catering contract for the future and we would be happy to forward details of this amazing venue and what we could do to make your event a success. Its early days right now but think Christmas!

Glammed up in gorgeous black, designer dressers and sporting full professional hair and make up, done on site, Bubble's staff looked like stars themselves and once again represented us in the spotlight as true professionals

Sunday 28th February 2010 Competition Winner's Screening - Fantastic Mr. Fox 20th Century Fox, Soho Square
The competition instructions were: 'Enter to win a Magically Marvellous, Fabulously Fantastic Day, of Feasts and Treats'.
Inspired by the recent Fox release, Fantastic Mr. Fox (and no pun intended!), young entrants were asked to compile a menu of their yummiest fantasy foods to compete for the prize of a private screening of the film with 20 of their closest friends. This would be followed by a party featuring the winner's fantasy food, carefully re-created by Bubble Food's skilled chefs. Using some of the elements of molecular cuisine, we conjured up a garden of culinary delights - Massive magical marshmallow mushrooms, lovely lollipops, crunchy cake, flying fruit and rainbow water were just some of the items that helped turn the afternoon into a memorable success for all the excited children attending.

Representatives from gaming magazines and techno-geeks aplenty enjoyed the day's catering, kicking off with a breakfast and followed by refreshments and then a lunchtime fork buffet, powering them up for some serious gaming and a short presentation.

Thursday 12th February 2010 Valentine's Day Premiere Odeon Leicester Square
The celebrities were out in force and really braved challenging elements for the star studded Valentine's Day release aptly named Valentine's Day.
Heading the red carpet were Hollywood's happy golden couple, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher. It appears that no amount of cold weather keeps the female stars from exposing themselves as Demi chatted to fans and press wearing only a strapless Marchesa dress whilst hubby wisely covered up in a long camel coat and scarf.
Jessica Albert went sleeveless Prada and boots whilst Emma Roberts bared her legs in a nifty short black dress by Kova.
The sparkly and rather colourful all girl group, The Saturdays, graced the carpet in Press-pleasing mini dresses.
Bubble Food was on hand to once again running the VIP lounge, serving Champagne, wines and cocktails, accompanied by romantic canapés. We love these special occasions! They give our kitchen experts an excuse to go all out with their creativity!
Valentine's Day is a Warner Bros film and is out in cinemas now.

Sunday February 7th 2010 Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief VUE Cinema Leicester Square
On a cold and bleak Sunday morning, more than one thousand families headed to VUE Cinema on Leicester Square for the official screening of Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief.
Bubble Food eased bleary eyed Sunday morning film buffs with hot bacon rolls and sausage baps and a good old fashioned brew . . nothing gets better!
Trouble-prone Percy Jackson is having problems in high school - but that's the least of his challenges. It's the 21st century, but the gods of Mount Olympus seem to have walked out of the pages of Percy's Greek mythology texts and into his life. Percy has learned that his real father is Poseidon, god of the sea, which menas Percy is a demigod - half human, half god. At the same time Zeus, the king of all gods, has accused Percy of stealing Zues' lightning bolt … the original weapon of mass destruction . . . . .
Percy Jackson is distributed by Twentieth Century Fox and is in cinemas this week

Tuesday 19th January 2010 SKY Movies screening of JAWS The London Aquarium
What better venue could you choose than the magnificent, recently renovated London Aquarium for a screening of the iconic 70's sensation, 'Jaws'.
The screening was a select few and was put on by the SKY Movies creative team, who regularly screen iconic films in quirky ways!
We also worked on their screening of Hitchcock's Psycho at the 'creaky' Coronet Theatre in Notting Hill, with a full live orchestra and sassy usherettes!
Viewing this thriller, adjacent to the enormous three story high, shark tank, really put guests in the true picture and Bubblewas on hand to steady their nerves with some great food and drinks.
Whilst shark fin soup was definitely not on the menu, guests enjoyed an array of high quality bespoke canapés constructed on site by our kitchen team.
The aquarium is one of the largest in Europe containing over a million litres of water and definitely worth a visit. It is also an excellent venue for a party with a difference and can accommodate large corporate dinners or standing receptions with great nautical views!

1st January 2010 SuperMartXe and 'Alice in Wonderland' O2 Academy, Brixton
Bubble Food and Logan Presents celebrated the dawn of the new decade in its own special way with another mega SuperMartXe production down in Brixton on the evening of New Year's Day.
The sub zero temperatures did little to keep 4000 very happy revellers at bay and by 8.00pm you couldn't swing a handbag in the huge main hall. Pipping Tim Burton to the mark, with our very own Alice in Wonderland, yet another amazing production kicked off with SuperMax energy. Pyrotechnics and a hardcore live guitar riff sounded the start of the first remixed track with live vocals by Bell (of Ronnie Scotts' fame), who wowed punters with an updated dance version of Guns and Roses 'Sweet Child O' Mine'.
Bubble sought the assistance for spectacular costume designs made in London and Spain by Brigitte Armengol Gero (of Lady Gaga fame), adorning the twenty something dancers throughout the evening's three different stage settings, starting with 'The Garden' and followed by the 'Tea Party' and finally the 'Queen of Hearts' set.
Aerial gymnasts kept the lofty heights above the stage engaging, whilst top DJ Juanjo Martin (Best DJ 2009 Europe) ensured the appreciative crowd never stopped moving, ably assisted by Steve Pitron and DJ Aron who played impressive alternative sets. Top Ibiza circuit singer Aimee showed London how it's done in Spain with the second vocal PA of the night
The three fabulous sets were designed by our very own Chief Bunny; Michael Collins and took 4 weeks in the making down at Bubble Towers, accompanied by our trademark amazing giant inflatables.
One of our sassy Bubble Girls; Jasmin, choreographed the three stage shows and the twenty set dancers. Clubbing really has evolved and SuperMartXe has surely raised the bar to dizzy new heights!
We look forward to giving London another year of superior clubbing nights to remember, during 2010!
To see more of the outfits and stage setup visit our Production Gallery.
